Services

Design that knows what it’s for.

Brand identity, type and websites from one senior designer, run like a studio. You get the craft of a small practice and the calm of a clear process, from the first call to the last file.

What I make

Three core services. One system behind them.

  1. 01

    Brand identity

A mark, a voice and a set of rules your whole team can use without calling me.

    Best for
New brands, rebrands, and founders whose look stopped matching the business.

    • Discovery questionnaire and a working session
    • Moodboards and stylescapes you sign off before any drawing
    • Logo suite, monogram and lockups
    • Colour and typography system
    • Brand guidelines your team can actually follow
    Typical timeline
    2 to 14 weeks
    Typical range
    $4,500–$28,000

  2. 02

    Type and lettering

Letters drawn for you alone, grounded in the history of the letterform.

    Best for
Brands that want a voice no one else can license, and publishers who care how a letter is made.

    • Concept and historical research
    • Custom lettering or a full typeface
    • Spacing, kerning and OpenType features
    • Proofing and a type specimen
    • OTF, TTF and WOFF files with a clear licence
    Typical timeline
3 to 4 weeks for lettering, 3 to 6 months for a typeface
    Typical range
    $4,500–$42,000+
Ask about type and lettering →
  3. 03

    Websites

A fast site on your own domain that you can edit yourself. Not rented from a platform.

    Best for
Studios, shops and practices that have outgrown a template.

    • Discovery and a site map
    • Wireframes, then full design in Figma
    • Built, tested and launched on your domain
    • An editor so you can change words and pictures yourself
    • A walkthrough call and a written guide
    Typical timeline
    5 to 16 weeks
    Typical range
    $9,500–$32,000+

How a project runs

Seven steps. No surprises.

  1. Step 01

    Assess

A first call to understand the problem, the budget and the fit. I send over the full pricing guide and recommend the package that solves it — or tell you honestly if I’m not the right studio.

Your partTell me about the business, the budget and the deadline.

  2. Step 02

    Propose

A written proposal with phases, deliverables, dates and a fixed fee. We both sign, the first invoice is paid, and your private Project Room opens.

Your partRead the proposal, sign it and pay the first half.

  3. Step 03

    Discover

A working session, research into your market and audience, then moodboards. You sign off the direction before I draw a single mark.

Your partJoin a working session and share what you love and what you don’t.

  4. Step 04

    Design

Sketches become finished vectors, checked and proofed, then laid out in a presentation deck you can read on any screen.

Your partNothing. This is my quiet stretch at the desk.

  5. Step 05

    Present

I walk you through the directions on a call and leave the deck in your Project Room, where you can sit with it and respond to each piece in your own time.

Your partApprove a direction, or leave clear notes within five business days.

  6. Step 06

    Revise

Your notes become the next round. Every version stays in your room so you can compare side by side and see what changed.

Your partReview the refined work and sign off final art.

  7. Step 07

    Deliver

Final files are checked, packaged and uploaded to your room with your guidelines and licence. They unlock the moment the final invoice is settled.

Your partSettle the final invoice and download your files.

Where the weeks go

A typical identity, week by week.

An eight-week brand identity from kickoff to handover. Larger identities and websites follow the same rhythm over a longer arc; a Brand Sprint condenses it into two to three weeks.

The client experience

Working with me happens in one private room.

Every client gets a Project Room: a private page that holds the whole project. No hunting through email threads, no lost attachments, no wondering what happens next.

  1. Private by design

Your own room, opened by a link in your inbox

No passwords to remember. Enter your email and a sign-in link arrives. Only you and the studio can see inside.

  2. Always know where things stand

A live timeline of every phase

See what’s done, what’s in progress and the next milestone, with a line for today. It updates as the work moves.

  3. Every round, kept

    Presentations with version history

Each round arrives as a clean deck you can play full screen. Earlier versions stay one click away, so nothing gets lost.

  4. Feedback in a click

    Approve, or ask for changes

Respond to each direction on its own. Approve it, or say what to change. Your notes and my answers live side by side.

  5. A clean handover

Final files that unlock when you’re paid up

When the last invoice is settled, every final file opens in your room. Download it all as one ZIP, checked and labelled.

Questions clients ask

How much does a project cost?

Brand identity ranges from $4,500 to $28,000, type and lettering from $4,500 to $42,000+, and websites from $9,500 to $32,000+. When you reach out and tell me a little about what you’re making, I send over the full studio pricing guide and recommend the scope that fits. Every project is a fixed fee agreed in the proposal before any work starts — no hourly surprises.

What happens after I get in touch?

I read every message myself and reply within two working days with the studio pricing guide and a link for a first call. If you already know what you need, I write a clear proposal with phases, dates and a fixed fee. If you’re still figuring out the scope, we can start with a 60 to 90 minute brand assessment ($450, credited in full to your project if you book within 30 days).

Will I work with you directly?

Yes. One designer from the first call to the last file. No juniors, no account managers, and no hand-offs in between.

How do we communicate during a project?

Everything lives in your private Project Room: your schedule, presentation decks, side-by-side comparisons, feedback and Q&A. We talk on video for kickoff and for round presentations; everything else happens calmly in your room so your calendar stays clear and nothing gets buried in email threads.

What do you need from me, and how much time does it take?

A 60-minute working session at the start, and a clear yes or clear notes within five business days of each presentation so the schedule holds. Your Project Room always highlights the single next step waiting on you.

How many revisions do I get?

Every package has review rounds built in — one for a Brand Sprint, two for most projects, and three for the largest. Because we agree on moodboards and direction before I draw finished work, review rounds are spent refining, not guessing.

How do payments work?

Half to start and half on completion. Projects over $15,000 split into three: 40% to start, 30% at design approval, 30% at handover. Projects from $3,000 can also be spread over up to six monthly payments at no extra cost. Invoices are paid online by card, and your final files unlock in your Project Room as soon as the last one is settled.

Who owns the work?

For logos and identity marks, copyright passes to you on final payment, so you can trademark them. Illustration, lettering and type are licensed for the use we agree in the proposal, and a full buyout is available if you need to own them outright.

Do you work with solo makers, small independent practices, or clients outside Seattle?

Yes to both. I work with clients anywhere — calls are on video and everything else lives in your Project Room. And if you’re an independent maker, solo practitioner or non-profit (or a friend of the studio), mention it when you write: I hold a couple of sliding-scale places each quarter.
